The Country Road Association is currently replacing sloped cedar roof and flat built up roof systems throughout the community. Approximately 80% of all roofs have been replaced as at February 1, 2010.

The original sloped cedar roofs are being replaced with Fire rated Class “A” heavy cedar shake roofing materials. This is the same fire rating that cement tile roof systems are rated for.

All roof repairs, tear-downs and replacements are performed by association employees under the direction and supervision of the Association’s Operations Manager who is a California State Licensed Roofing Contractor #351682 – C39. 

All roof replacements are paid for in full by the association and the funds are available from the roof reserve accounts that are funded by the monthly dues. No special assessments are contemplated for roofing operations at this time.
